BE A 5-STAR Woman or Unit by meeting the following criteria

Units or individual members give in each of the following 5 mission giving areas :

PLEDGE TO MISSION – mission giving through United Methodist Women.

SPECIAL MISSION RECOGNITION – mission giving through the Women’s Division in honor of the recipient.  The basic gift is $40.00 and can be shared by more than one purchaser.  (Up to 8)  A pin is given to the recipient.

GIFT TO MISSION – theme greeting card can be purchased for $5.00 to recognize a special event in the honoree’s life.

GIFT IN MEMORY – honors a special friend or family member with a card and a $ amount for mission work to be filled in by the purchaser and then sent to the family of the deceased person.

WORLD THANK OFFERING – shares a portion of God’s blessing with others.  (Suggestion: a dime a day)

Keep track of your giving throughout the year and report to your Unit’s Treasurer by December 1.  Local treasurer gives names of individuals or the unit name to District treasurer.  The District treasurer then gives individual names to Conference treasurer and unit names to Conference ME&I Coordinator.  5-Star units and women are recognized at the Spring District meeting.
